New Blog Post from Chiropractic Marketing Blog ChiroBullets.com Shares Chiropractic Ad Writing Formula

Chiropractic Marketing Consultant Ben Cummings

Rochester, NY (PRWEB) January 29, 2012

Ben Cummings is founder of Practice Building Center, the web’s largest chiropractic marketing forum and training site containing over 300 tutorial videos and downloads.

In his popular chiropractic marketing blog, ChiroBullets.com, Ben Cummings has just released an article on Jay Abraham’s copywriting and advertising writing formula.

Chiropractors can access the new article here:

http://blog.practicebuildingcenter.com/chiropractic-advertising-jay-abraham-school-of-ad-writing/

In Ben Cummings latest blog post, he teaches chiropractors how to craft effective chiropractic ads. He accomplishes this by sharing a video from legendary copywriter Jay Abraham in which he teaches his Amazon School of Copywriting lesson a shared on YouTube.

Ben Cummings explains, “I am a huge fan of Jay Abraham. He is a brilliant copywriter. This video holds great value for those who are seeking to go beyond the ordinary and the boring in their chiropractic marketing ads.”

Chiropractors learn how to look at Amazon.com, the world’s largest online retailer, and to study the reviews that people write for products. “Studying amazon reviews are what allow the writer to generate a list of hot buttons, pain points, and benefits,” says Ben.

“These can then be woven into an effective ad that taps into exactly what the market wants. It is a very effective and fast approach to writing high impact ads. We show chiropractors how to adapt this method so they are writing great ads from the start,” says Ben.

Since Amazon is the world’s biggest Internet marketplace, it has its finger on the pulse of what people are buying today. This makes it the perfect research tool for writing good ads.

Mr. Cummings asserts that this is a big opportunity for chiropractors, since the range of what they treat is so diverse. “There are literally tens of thousands of products that contain reviews, that chiropractors could use as fodder for writing killer advertisements,” says Ben.

Where can a chiropractor learn more? Chiropractors can subscribe to ChiroBullets(TM) for free. They should visit Ben’s chiropractic marketing blog at ChiroBullets.com. “Chiropractors can start receiving ChiroBullets(TM) for no cost. They are daily, hand-picked chiropractic marketing tips and superb marketing tutorials. They are delivered to your inbox email as soon as they hit the scene,” says Ben.

Ben thinks this is important information for chiropractors, and asks chiropractors to Like his Page on Facebook to learn exclusive tips and tricks. “I’d appreciate your help in spreading the word amongst chiropractors,” says Ben Cummings.

Bard College Receives Gift of Berlin Liberal Arts University and Funding Support from Christian A. Johnson Endeavor Foundation

Bard College Receives Gift of Berlin Liberal Arts University and Funding Support from Christian A. Johnson Endeavor Foundation

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. (PRWEB) December 02, 2011

Bard College has assumed ownership of ECLA European College of Liberal Arts in Berlin, Germany. This new satellite institution of Bard, to be called ECLA of Bard, a Liberal Arts University, has been transferred to Bard by the Christian A. Johnson Endeavor Foundation as part of a larger gift that includes financial support for the transition.

One of Europe’s earliest liberal arts education programs, ECLA was founded in 1999 in the aftermath of German reunification and the democratic revolutions of Central and Eastern Europe. It is located in the Pankow district of the former East Berlin.

Under Bard, academic programs will be expanded and graduates will receive a dual degree accredited in Germany and the United States. A new semester- and year-long study abroad program will be introduced in 2012 to take advantage of Berlin’s rich resources in the areas of arts and culture; politics, economics, and society; and history and literature. The new program will include an internship component and is expected to appeal to U.S. students, among others. In the future, several master of arts degree programs are planned.

ECLA achieved preliminary accreditation from the Berlin Senate in February 2011. It currently enrolls 65 students and offers a multidisciplinary B.A. degree in value studies, which brings together, under the umbrella of their relationship to values, such topics as art and aesthetics, ethics and political theory, and literature and rhetoric. The language of instruction is English. The student body is international and includes citizens of more than 42 countries. The university also offers yearlong study programs.

Board leadership as well as the financial needs of ECLA have been provided by the Christian A. Johnson Endeavor Foundation since the Foundation established the college in August 2002 as a German not-for-profit corporation. The guidance and support by the Foundation enabled ECLA to make the transition from a summer university to a four-year liberal-arts B.A. program. In addition to ECLA itself and the 15 buildings that make up its campus, Endeavor Foundation’s gift to Bard includes a $ 12 million grant to support the program during the transition phase.

“We are honored and excited to have this opportunity to make ECLA thrive as part of Bard. The ideals of ECLA’s program reflect the finest of the liberal arts tradition, as well as an important step in the extension of the liberal arts to European students,” said Bard College President Leon Botstein. “At the same time, we look forward to creating a new set of programs compatible with ECLA’s existing mission. We’re grateful to have been presented with the opportunity to continue the visionary work of Julie Johnson Kidd and the Christian A. Johnson Endeavor Foundation, and look forward to strengthening and expanding the programs of this pioneering institution.”

President Julie J. Kidd of the Christian A. Johnson Endeavor Foundation said, “The establishment of ECLA European College of Liberal Arts and the accreditation of its B.A. program in value studies have been of enormous importance to the mission of the Christian A. Johnson Endeavor Foundation and have absorbed a great deal of our efforts and resources over most of the last decade. It is time now that we transfer the leadership and responsibility for ECLA to the most innovative, dynamic, and suitable partner to take on the further development of ECLA’s special mission. We are honored and grateful that Bard has agreed to be ECLA’s new owner and champion. Bard has been a helpful partner since ECLA was created, and I look forward to continuing, with Bard, to build on what has already been accomplished.”

Bard has long been a leader in bringing the liberal arts model to new locations throughout the world. The gift adds a new site to Bard’s international network of liberal arts B.A. programs, which includes dual degrees offered with St. Petersburg State University (Russia), American University of Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan), Al-Quds University (Israel/Palestine), and the University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg, South Africa, dual credit).

For further information on the programs of and admission to ECLA of Bard, a Liberal Arts University, contact Susan Gillespie at 845-758-7082 or gillespi(at)bard(dot)edu.

Table Shopping is Now Much Simpler with Solid Table Advice from the President of Worthington Direct

Table Shopping is Now Much Simpler with Solid Table Advice from the President of Worthington Direct

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) February 28, 2008

Worthington Direct (http://worthingtondirect.com), a supplier of school, church and early childhood furniture and equipment for over 10 years has new expert advice on making the right table purchase. If a worship facility or a school is looking for folding tables, classroom tables, banquet tables or a harder-to-find round folding tables, they may have questions about the many products available on the market. With 30 years in the school furniture industry, Worthington Direct President, Kevin Worthington, has addressed several common questions that arise when purchasing a table.

What do some of the construction terms mean?

Tables are available with a variety of tabletop and core material options. High-Pressure Laminate (HPL), blow molded plastic, ABS plastic, particleboard and plywood are the primary materials for the majority of activity and folding tables.

High Pressure Laminate: HPL tops are created by a two step method of bonding the finish and back layers to the core materials using glue under extreme heat and pressure. This process forms a table surface that is extremely durable and will not bubble up when exposed to water. Tables with HPL tops offer a variety of color choices and have a completely smooth finish. This is an added plus for classrooms, which would include writing and art projects. http://worthingtondirect.com/school_furniture/tables/big_projects_planner_art_tables_by_smith_system.htm

Particleboard-Core: Particleboard is composed of wood chips glued together under pressure to create a high density board. Particleboard tables can range from ¾” to 1 ¼” in thickness and generally have a high pressure laminate surface. Due to their higher density, they weigh more that plywood-core or plastic tables and are best used in spaces that require little movement. Particleboard’s weight anchors them more securely in place and is a reliable standard for classroom activity tables.

Plywood-Core: These reliable tabletops have a plywood core at the center and can have a HPL or a natural stained surface. They are lighter than particleboard, which makes them much easier to set up and break down. The lighter the weight of the table, the less likely damage can occur from slight impacts or bumps that happen when moving the tables or during the initial delivery. Plywood-core folding tables are perfect for banquet rooms or fellowship halls that require frequent movement and offsite storage. http://worthingtondirect.com/school_furniture/tables/rectangular_plywood_core_folding_table_by_midwest.htm

Blow Molded: The newest design to enter the production line is the blow molded plastic resin tabletops, which are extremely lightweight and can be easily set up and stored. Their plastic surface can take food spills and other messes and can be easily cleaned. Blow molded tables do have a slightly textured surface and this should be taken in account when placing these tables in areas that will be used for note taking or other writing exercises. http://worthingtondirect.com/school_furniture/tables/plastic_resin_banquet_tables.htm

ABS Plastic: ABS is a thermoplastic that is lightweight and durable enough to be used to make football helmets. ABS plastic tables can either have a plywood-core or a honeycomb core made up of steel, plywood or more ABS plastic. These tables generally weigh a little more than blow molded plastic resin tables, but offer more stability and strength.

What are the various table heights?

Tables are offered in a fixed or adjustable height option. If a table has a fixed height, it is most likely to be 29 inches to 30 inches high for a standard adult height. Adjustable height tables usually move in one-inch increments for added flexibility when working with children or youth. Some adjustable tables offer a shorter height range just for smaller children. http://worthingtondirect.com/school_furniture/early_childhood_furniture/creative_colors_mix_and_match_tables_by_mahar.htm

What about the table legs?

When choosing a table, consider the standard four-leg classroom table, the T-Leg pedestal table, and the folding table. Each of these leg styles have unique footprints that take up space differently underneath the table. For instance, the T-leg pedestal tables have free space at the corners for leg comfort, but may prohibit someone from being able sit along the smaller ends of the table. The legs and frames of a table are often made of steel. Remember, the lower the gauge of steel, the stronger the table.

How do you determine the seating capacity of a table?

Choosing tables can be tricky. Since size is the most important factor, remember that the smaller the chair, the greater the seating capacity around a table. However, knowing how the table will be used can also determine the amount of room that each person around the table will need. http://www.worthingtondirect.com/school-furniture-fast-facts-for-table-buying-guide.htm

Seating capacity depends on the size of the person and the size of the chair. Full-size student stack chairs are usually 18 inches to 21 inches wide. If you are using a standard folding chair for seating, then plan for 18 inches of width per seat. Allowing for a liberal 26 inches per person gets the “comfortable” designation, while allowing a tight 20 inches per person gets you the “maximum” designation.

About Worthington Direct: Worthington Direct has been in operation for 11 years with an employee average of 13 years experience in the school supply, church and equipment industry, and knows what is important – selection, service, price and timing.

Our goal is to make your purchasing job easier. With competitive pricing, knowledgeable sales associates, and “In Stock” products for quick, efficient shipping, Worthington Direct is committed to be your furniture resource. Duke of Edinburgh?s charity benefits from XLN Adventure

Duke of Edinburgh’s charity benefits from XLN Adventure

(PRWeb UK) September 15, 2010

3 teams from leading telecom provider XLN Telecom have completed The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award ‘Reach for the Peaks Challenge’ and raised over £5000 for the leading youth charity in the process.

Last weekend saw the 21 employees from the London head office navigate their way across a 25 mile route over steep hills, moors and rough terrain whilst completing challenges along the way.

Carrying everything they required for 36 hours, XLN employees camped out in dramatic weather conditions in a remote location of the Peak District. Groups had to use their wit and wisdom to solve team challenges – one of which involved erecting a raft and rowing it successfully around a huge lake straight after they had completed an 8 mile trek. The challenge tested the teams both mentally and physically and required a huge amount of team work.

James Wilson, Head of Marketing, said: “The weekend was hard work but extremely enjoyable. The group from XLN pulled together and embraced the challenges with focus and commitment and were thrilled to complete the challenge. We are delighted to have raised more than £5000 for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, it’s such a worthwhile cause and it was great to see what young people are faced with as they work towards their Awards.”

Rachel Roxburgh, Director of Fundraising, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, was extremely grateful to all the participants who took part in the challenge. She said: “It was a fantastic weekend and I’d like to thank everyone from the XLN Telecom teams who donned their walking boots and braved the elements to take part in this event. It’s a tough challenge and they showed so much enthusiasm and gave over 100 percent which was commendable. It was good to offer just a taste of what 275,000 young people go through each year to achieve their DofE Award. I’d also like to say a huge thank you for the team’s amazing fundraising efforts, the event has raised over £20,000 to help the charity to continue to support these young people and give them a better start in life.”

Milken Family Foundation to Receive Excellence in Education Award from Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education

Milken Family Foundation to Receive Excellence in Education Award from Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education

Santa Monica, CA (PRWEB) May 2, 2011

Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education (KDP), announces its selection of the Milken Family Foundation (MFF) as the first recipient of its International Award for Excellence in Education. The Foundation is being recognized for its sustained commitment to honoring and supporting our nation’s educators.

Established as a part of KDP’s Centennial Celebration, the award honors an organization that demonstrates exemplary service to educators. “I cannot think of a more deserving entity to receive our inaugural award. The Milken family’s three decades of dedication to strengthening American K–12 education and support to classroom teachers is commendable,” reflects Faye Snodgress, KDP Executive Director. The Milken Educator Awards program and network epitomize the proven fact that the quality of the teacher in the classroom is by far the most important school-based factor in determining student achievement. Since its establishment, the program has honored 2,500 K–12 teachers, principals, and specialists.

MFF Chairman and Co-Founder Lowell Milken presented the first Milken Educator Awards in 1987 to recognize excellence in teaching. In 1999, he introduced TAP: The System for Teacher and Student Advancement to generate such excellence in far greater quantities for the American teaching profession. TAP places the talented teacher front and center in a comprehensive system to attract, develop, motivate and retain effective educators. TAP’s proven reforms now impact 20,000 teachers and 200,000 students in schools and districts across the country.

“Educators have the most important job in our nation: to prepare our youth for a productive and satisfying future in a global economy. As the motto of the Milken Educator Awards proclaims,” said Lowell Milken, “‘The future belongs to the educated.’ We are deeply honored to receive the International Award for Excellence, and wish Kappa Delta Pi every success in further developing the one profession that shapes all others—teaching.”

The International Award for Excellence in Education will be presented as a part of KDP’s 48th Biennial Convocation, November 3–5, 2011, in Indianapolis, Indiana, where the organization will also celebrate its Centennial. Founded in 1911, today KDP advances the professional growth and teaching practices of 20,000 preservice educators in partnership with 635 teacher education programs as well as 25,000 practitioners—eventually impacting the academic success of more than 1.5 million students per year.

Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education (http://www.kdp.org) is a not-for-profit organization that supports the professional growth and teaching practices of educators throughout the world. For 100 years, the Society has recognized excellence in education, advanced professional development, provided a reasoned voice for significant issues, and linked learning communities of educators.

Milken Family Foundation (http://www.mff.org) exists to discover and advance inventive and effective ways of helping people help themselves and those around them lead productive and satisfying lives. The Foundation advances this mission primarily through its work in education and medical research.

To access the expanded list of loans, site visitors simply select “Expanded List” in the “View Loans From” feature at the top of the loan results page.

“For more than two years, SimpleTuition has been pioneering interactive tools to aid students and parents in understanding their student loan options,” added Walker. “We are proud of our mission to be an independent and comprehensive source of student loan data – and with the addition of dozens of new loan products, we can add ‘comprehensive’ to that list of descriptors.”

SimpleTuition is not a lender, and unlike other online student loan resources, SimpleTuition is not sponsored or owned by a single lender or financial services company. Similar to other comparison shopping and search sites, the company may receive a transaction or referral fee if any of its many Partner products is selected. SimpleTuition clearly discloses Partner products, and its expanded model includes dozens of non-partners for a wider choice. The service is free to users.

Colleges and universities can also work with SimpleTuition to present compliant and arm’s-length loan information to their families. Whether a school wants to present three loan options or two hundred and three, SimpleTuition can help.

Loan results can be sorted by monthly payment, total cost of loan, number of payments, first payment due date and APR – and results contain detailed information about loan pricing, borrower benefits and other attributes.

Free Parenting Tips from Noted Marriage and Parenting Coach!

Powder Springs, GA (PRWEB) February 24, 2011

FREE PARENTING ADVICE is available this weekend at the Cobb Galleria in Marietta, Georgia. Certified parenting coach Kindred Howard will share valuable tips on parenting this Saturday and Sunday when he addresses parents at the inaugural Parent Palooza to be held at the Cobb Galleria. The event promises to host hundreds of parents and will feature numerous vendors, including Howard’s organization, Family Upward. Howard will be speaking on the topic “Same-Page Parenting: Working Together Effectively to Raise Happy, Secure Kids.”

Howard will speak both on Saturday, February 26, at 10:30 a.m., and on Sunday, February 27, at 4:00 p.m.

“Many parents find it hard to get on the ‘same page’ when it comes to parenting,” says Howard. “This can be due to a number of factors, such as different experiences growing up, different philosophies, contrary views regarding discipline, and so on. The purpose of this message will be to help parents identify some key areas where it is important to be on the same page and provide some practical suggestions and methods that can help.” Howard will also be available to speak with parents one-on-one throughout the day following his Satruday message and prior to his message on Sunday.

Kindred Howard is a certified parenting coach with over ten years of experience counseling couples and parents as a full-time minister. He is the founder and lead coach for Family Upward Marriage, Parent, and Family Life Coaching.
